Well, I don't know what you guys have against the RX-7. Yeah, to me it kinda has the looks of a baby-Viper, but still we're all at least somewhat aware of the power that can be had from a rotary engine. Just for example, I was talking to a 3rd gen RX-7 owner at Atco raceway last fall. He had about $2500 sunk into his car for speed: if I remember right all it was was Nitto 555DRs, intake exhaust and downpipe, and the A'pexi all-in-one computer. He was running low 12s! I think his best was 12.1. Stock engine, stock turbos. Manual too! --- I was racing my TTZ, which was at Stillen (god damn it only for reference here) stage 6 or so, and had sunk way more than $2500 into. And I still haven't broken into the high 12s, let alone lows! FYI: 2.04ish 60 ft times, 107mph traps for me (yeah I can drive!). What I'm saying is that if I could afford to have an RX-7 TT also, I'd surely get one! Hell, I haven't read much about them but I understand that if you drop in the 2.0 (20B engine?) into a 3rd gen RX-7... that's the base for the RX-7s that run well below 10sec 1/4 milers. Rob
